Important meeting information
The meeting starts on Monday, 6th November at 9 am
and ends on Friday, 10th November at 13 pm.
You will find the meeting room in front of the reception desk. All sessions will take place in the big meeting room in the entry area.
Please check-in at the front desk, where you will receive your name badge which is required for admittance into meeting rooms and breaks.
Coffee breaks will be provided at 10:30am and 15:30pm in front of the meeting room. Lunch will be served in the Fraunhofer cafeteria right hand of the meeting room.
How to find us
By car
Fraunhofer IIS is located near the Nürnberg airport and the intersection of highway B4 Nürnberg-Erlangen and freeway A3 Regensburg-Frankfurt. Follow A3 until exit Erlangen-Tennenlohe, then follow B4 heading for Erlangen and exit at Tennenlohe-Gewerbegebiet, Wetterkreuz. At the traffic lights go straight for three blocks, before hotel Tennenloher Hof turn right into Am Wolfsmantel. After 500 m you will see Fraunhofer IIS on your left. There is a visitor car parking available in front of the building.
By train/bus from Erlangen main station
Take bus no. 295 with destination “Tennenlohe” leaving in front of the Erlangen main station. After a ride of about 25 minutes exit at bus stop “Brückleinsgasse” right in front of Fraunhofer IIS.
By plane/taxi
The taxi ride from the airport Nürnberg (11 km) takes 14-20 minutes and costs 25€.
By Bus from the airport Nuremberg: about 35 to 50 minutes
- Buses leave exactly in front of the arrival. First take bus no 33 from the airport in direction of “Fürth Rathaus” or bus no 30 in direction of “Erlangen-Arcaden”.
- Get off at the bus stop “Am Wegfeld” (Bus no 33 departs every 20-30 minutes.)
- Then take bus no 20 in direction of “Erlangen Arcaden”.
- Get off at “Tennenlohe Wetterkreuz”.
- Then you have two options. You can either take a 10 minute walk (1 km) to Fraunhofer IIS or take bus no 295 (cross the street to the bus stop) in direction of “Tennenlohe Frauenweiherstraße”and get off at “Brückleinsgasse”. The institute is exactly opposite the bus stop.
